KNX Atlas für ETS 1.0.1
=============================

Deutsch (English below)

- Keine Netzwerkzugriffe, keine Telemetrie.

English

What for?
ETS 6 refuses project files written by KNX Atlas with "project file has no valid signature". KNX Atlas cannot
and must not sign them. This program lets your own installed and licensed ETS 6 import the file and write it
again with its own exporter; ETS signs it itself.

Requirements
- Windows 10 or 11 (.NET Framework 4.8 is part of it, nothing else to install).
- A licensed ETS 6. Tested with 6.4.8718; other 6.x builds run only after you confirm.
- Start ETS 6 once beforehand so that ETS finds your licence reliably (needed for the certificate).

How to use
1. Unzip the folder and start KnxAtlasEtsExport.exe. Keep the three program files together.
Windows SmartScreen may ask on the first start because the program is not code-signed.
2. File: drop the .knxproj file on the window or click "Choose file...".
3. Password (only for protected projects): enter the project password.
4. Destination: the new file is "<name> (ETS).knxproj" next to the original.
5. "Export for ETS", wait, read the result.
6. Import the new file in ETS 6 (File > Import project).

Good to know
- The original file is never changed. Your ETS projects and data are not touched
  (isolated temporary store, deleted afterwards).
- The password is only handed to ETS in memory, never stored or logged.
- Certificate: if ETS finds your licence it writes a certificate into the file - with your licence name and
number, as with a normal ETS export. Without a certificate, an ETS without a support licence imports at most
  5 devices.
- If ETS dropped devices during the import, or the project has more devices than your licence allows, the
  program stops and writes nothing.
- No network access, no telemetry.

ETS is a product of KNX Association. KNX Atlas is an independent product with no affiliation with or
endorsement by KNX Association. The program ships no ETS files and works only with your own ETS installation.
